I remember I happened upon an artist with beautiful music.. and that artist was, Kanon Wakeshima. The first song I heard from her was sweet ticket, a full out cello song.. and literally I was so stunned, I couldn't even speak for a moment. Back then, I knew nothing about musical instruments so I was wondering "What string instrument is this.. it's so beautiful!" I showed a friend of mine that played the cello and he informed me of this beautiful instrument. This was around October of my grade 8 year.. I was thinking maybe it wasn't too late to join the schools string orchestra. I tried asking the teacher but she told me it was a little bit too late and that I could try next year, and so I did ^__^
When listening to songs with a cello in it.. I feel more at ease and comfortable.. I can't even explain what I feel when listening to the cello. I feel terrible for neglecting my dear Naoki during school... T__T It gets quite stressing though when you have so much going on. A few days ago, I found that Kanon Wakeshima released new songs (actually that was like.. exactly last year.... but found it now... LOL ) and listened to Shakespeare no Wasuremono ~prologue~
and fell in love with my cello all over again.. like it was the first time I got my cello. I know I sound like a complete orch dork.. but really.. the cello is so beautiful I can't stop thinking about how beautiful it is lately =.= I think it's cause I actually have TIME to play it now.. I must find more songs to play so that I can get better and do better next year in strings : )
Kanon Wakeshima though.. has inspired me.. and kept me motivated because of her beautiful playing. I don't want to stop playing the cello until I can get as good as she is ! I WILL WORK HARD!

I can't even express .. how I feel about.. the playing.. it's too beautiful !!!! I literally felt shivers down my spine every time I listen to that cello solo. Every single song in that new album.. every single one of them.. are brilliant. I absolutely adore the fact that there's a cello solo in each of them, even if it is very short. But enough of this cello craze : ) .. I swear to god .. one of these days.. I will have an oboe craze as well @__@ It'll happen eventually.
